If you are not sure whether your prompt or idea falls into this scope, feel free to message us or send a cc!- jaeyong/taejae ONLY (this means no polyamory arrangements, reference to past relationships involving JH or TY with other characters is ok)- The minimum word count is 1,500 words. You’re welcome to write as much as you want, there are no limits!- All fic ratings are allowed. However, if you due to the lengthy process of obtaining one, we allow ghost publishing for those who wish to participate but don't have an account on ao3. This also applies to those who want to remain anonymous.If you have an existing ao3 account: Once you've completed your work, you can add it directly to the fic fest collection titled "jyff2023 ". (To remain completely anonymous, uncheck your pseud in creator/pseud section)We will send you an email with the final submission instructions prior to the deadline.The deadline for submissions is September 1st, 2023. But if you are finished by August 5th, you can submit to the collection above.Works must not be submitted on other platforms before the reveal period to keep the surprise! FAQWhat falls under omegaverse?I'm sure we have read at least one manga or fanfiction with this alternative universe, but for those who may be inexperienced in reading/writing this broad theme, here are some ideas to consider. They may include but are not limited to: vampire/werewolves, lycan tropes, aliens, hybrids but must include certain dynamics solely identified to wolves i.e packs, mating, heats, biting marks and the list is endless.. if you still require more information or clarity, send us a cc or DM!How do I submit a prompt?Use our prompt form to submit a prompt. It goes through the instructions of how to do so as well. Prompting ends March 31st 11:59PM EST.How do I claim a prompt?To claim a prompt, you can do so using our prompt claim form. It should be filled out once properly with the two (2) prompts you wish to use by the deadline specified on the schedule. If you have a self-prompt idea in mind and wish not to use a prompt we have provided, by all means, use it! All we ask is that it adheres to the fest's theme and guidelines and is entirely your original work! We still require that you fill out the claim form .Can I remain anonymous?Absolutely! On ao3 it allows you to uncheck your username as the creator/pseud associated to a work when submitting but once you submit to a collection, we can automatically keep your work anonymous (just inform us beforehand). If you don't have an ao3 account, all you need to do is send your work as a word document to our email with the appropriate title, tags and summary and we will post it for you on our ao3 account.How do I check in?An additional form will be provided on the dates specified for check-ins. All you have to do is fill it out, to show you're still participating. It will be a simple acknowledgement.How do I submit my work?When you've completed all of your story or wish to publish it for reading by the deadline August 31st. If you have a pre-existing ao3 account or can get one, you may post it to the collection "feel the heat (jyff2023)". Until the story reveal takes place, we would prefer if you could refrain from posting directly on your ao3 account to keep the story reveal process a surprise! Alternatively, if you don't wish to get an account or wish to remain anonymous, you can email us and we will post it for you on our ao3 domain.
