If you are not sure whether your work falls into this scope, feel free to message us!- Jaeyong/Taejae endgame ONLY (this means no polyamory arrangements. Sideships or references to past relationships involving jh or ty with other characters is ok.)- The minimum word count is 1,500 words. You are welcome to write as much as you want, there are no limits!- Works must be original to the fest and not a continuation of an existing work.- All fic ratings are allowed. Please note you must be 18+ to submit NSFW works. This trope highlights the growing closeness and emotional connection as friends come to recognize their deeper romantic feelings. Authors are invited to explore this nuanced and meaningful journey !How can I enter?For this mini-fest, instead of the usual prompting or claiming period, we’re doing a secret Santa! You’ll receive AO3 tags and word prompts suggested by us and fellow participants, and your task will be to create your own plot and weave those tags into your story. After filling out the sign-up form, we’ll reach out to assign your tags and you can get the writing process started right away.What is the timeline for this festSign-Ups: Nov 1- Nov 15Tag assignment: Nov 15Check-in: Jan 10Submission: Jan 24Postings: Jan 31 - Feb 2Reveals: Feb 3Can I remain anonymous?Absolutely! On ao3 it allows you to uncheck your username as the creator/pseud associated to a work when submitting but once you submit to a collection, we can automatically keep your work anonymous (just inform us beforehand). If you don't have an ao3 account, all you need to do is send your work as a word document to our email with the appropriate title, tags and summary and we will post it for you on our ao3 account.How do I check in?An additional form will be provided on the date(s) specified for check-ins. All you have to do is fill it out, to show you're still participating. It will be a simple acknowledgement.How do I submit my work?When you've completed all of your story or wish to publish it for reading by the deadline. If you have a pre-existing ao3 account or can get one, you may post it to the collection "friends to lovers (jyff2024)". Until the story reveal takes place, we would prefer if you could refrain from posting directly on your ao3 account to keep the story reveal process a surprise! Alternatively, if you don't wish to get an account or wish to remain anonymous, you can email us and we will post it for you on our ao3 domain.
